Intragastric Balloon Costs
There are no hidden fees at Sea Change.

Insertion & Post-Operative Care
Our fee for insertion, removal and the following post-insertion care is $6,500. This covers:
- Your surgeon performing the insertion and removal
- Your anaesthetist’s fee
- Theatre fee at Lingard Private Hospital for the insertion and removal visits
- All post-operative appointments as are necessary with your surgeon (usually 1 post-insertion and 1 pre-removal)
- 6 months of post-operative care with your dietitian at Sea Change (usually 4 appointments).
Consultations Before Insertion
- Initial consultation with your surgeon: $285
- Subsequent consultations with your surgeon (if required): $150
- Initial consultation with your dietitian (required pre-surgery): $150
- Subsequent consultations with your dietitian (if required): $100
